Love Notes

I had the pleasure of attending the retreat in October. It was a wonderful time. I enjoyed the community and learning Tantra meditation. I’m so happy this is available to keep us all connected throughout the year!!!

Reflecting on the Vistara Circle Fall Retreat: "Tantra and Spiritual Perspectives on Beauty" I have few words that would properly express to the amount of love and beauty I experienced while bonding with this precious spiritual community. The experience has definitely taken my spiritual practice to another level as my life has undoubtedly become so much sweeter. The meditative nature walk was particularly lovely. Taking a moment to get very quiet and just be in nature, noticing all the beautiful moments that emerge is a wonderful practice I happily take with me into my everyday routine. My dog is very happy she is getting much longer nature walks! Many thanks to all who worked so lovingly to organize the retreat. Truly a gift, Namaskar 🙏🌈💗

Attending Vistara Circle’s Tantra Perspective on Beauty retreat was like opening a treasure chest of spiritual fulfillment. We had the opportunity to spend an entire weekend enriching ourselves with such activities as meditation, yoga, music, art, dance, and forest bathing. The kind people who lived at Gita Nagari were also excellent hosts for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I looked forward to how I would feel once I returned to my daily life after the retreat. I am happy to report that I have been enjoying the beauty of life’s varied experiences even more. My meditations have been more joyful and I am calmer in the face of adversity. In addition, Vistara Circle has a wonderful yoga/meditation community that regularly meets online and in the DC area. If you are interested in deepening your spiritual practice with like-minded individuals, I encourage you to check out some of the programs. 🌸🌺💗🌺🌸

Namaskar. I came to this retreat a bit scared and closed off because I didn’t know what to except. For a long time I’ve had struggles opening up to people I meet and allowing my true self to be shown and vulnerable, amongst other things. It wasn’t long after I arrived that Gustavo and the whole Prama Institution/family made me feel in a place of comfort. The days were filled with exciting, fun activities that helped create a bond with the rest of the attendees. Good friends were made, tears were shared, and support was shown from all. It was a big step towards “Discovering my life’s purpose” The knowledge that I left with will make a huge, life changing impact towards reaching my goals and highest potential. I don’t regret a single moment I spent there and am excited to experience what the future holds for me as I implement what I’ve learned. Thank you all who took part in making this such a significant event in my life. P.S. the food was out of this world! Thank you to all the cooks!

The Vistara Circle Summer Retreat was a life-changing experience. Before I arrived, I was lost, feeling hopeless, and didn’t feel like I had a sense of purpose when it came to life. Upon arrival at Prama, and after being warmly greeted by Krsnatma, those feelings slowly started to fade and would continue to do so as the retreat progressed. Meditation was deep, kirtan was enchanting, and the food was out of this world! The surrounding area and Prama itself were picturesque and inspirational and a must-visit. Activities were thoughtfully planned and fun. Personally, the retreat helped me gain mental clarity, hope, and, above all, purpose. I’m a very indecisive individual and tend to doubt myself and my decisions. However, thanks to all the meditation we did and my newfound mental clarity, I ended up making a few important decisions while there! In addition, several emotional releases occurred that had a profound effect on myself and reminded me that we are not perfect but that we can in fact change certain facets of ourselves for the better. I also made many new friends who I love dearly. Lastly, I overcame some fears and limiting beliefs that were preventing me from living a full life. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this retreat a 350,000,000! You will laugh. You may cry. Best of all, you will changeThe meditative nature walk was particularly lovely. Taking a moment to get very quiet and just be in nature, noticing all the beautiful moments that emerge is a wonderful practice I happily take with me into my everyday routine.
